Its real. I would assume adding an extract would produce an inferior product esp in chocolate. Mainly due to very little vanilla and mostly alcohol in an extract.
Bittersweet chocolate(unsweetened chocolate), sugar, cocoa butter milk fat soy lechitin vanilla. Personal opinion: far and away the best chocolate from a major manufacturer!

i wouldn't know i don't buy these kinds i buy ENJOY LIFE vegan chips from my local health food store.. but what i hear there supposed to be dairy free u prolly can buy them at ur own local grocery store..
Yes, you can use this as the basis of a dip. Mix 4 ounces of the chips with 2 Tablespoons of heavy cream. Heat until the chips are milted, and blended with the cream. This goes well with Strawberries.
