You have to turn on the LCD screen...hold down the power button on the LCD screen for a few seconds and it will come on. And of course you have to have something on a slide to look at!

I don't think you can hook the projector up directly to the microscope. One solution might be to capture the image on a memory card, and if the projector has a corresponding slot, you may be able to project the image that way. I hope this is somewhat helpful.
