They're advertised as such, but after I ran mine through the dishwasher water became trapped in the bottom (in the rubber non slip piece) and gradually leaked out making a mess in my cabinet. After that I hand washed them.

Largest Bowl is 11 1/4" in diameter, 5" high; middle bowl is 9 1/2" in diameter, 4 3/4" high; smallest bowl is 7 1/2" in diameter, 4" high.

I went to OXO's website and learned they are owned by another company, which is based in the Bahamas, which is where companies go to avoid tax responsibilities here, so that's not a good sign. for these particular bowls I have not seen any lids available for them. There are OXO bowls that come with lids but they are small storage bowls - not the type that you would use for mixing.
