Yes, this clipper set will cut through anything. We tried several others on our Great Pyrenees and all failed except the Andis clippers. These clippers cut through the coat like butter :)

sorry, can't help you as all my clippers I'm selling are new and sealed...The best idea would be taking your clipper to any hardware store (Home Depot, Menards, Ace Hardware, etc) and simply show them the clipper. Having the clipper, they should be able to match the correct screws for you easily. Take care.

I have several medium haired cats that I use these clippers on. I give them a lion cut every 10 or so weeks, 1 of them that doesn't groom herself is always matted and these work great.
