They’re counterfeit. I just read an article stating Birkenstock pulled all their merchandise from Amazon in 2016 because of other counterfeits of their products being sold via Amazon...the same article said Nike is ending its 2 yr run with them as well.
I would consider it a "winter white"; its pearlescent so its dressier. It's pretty neutral. I dont think I would personally wear it with all white, but I would wear it if white was an accent color and not the majority of my outfit.
Amazon shows leather and also the birko stuff. Since the pair I got says “oiled leather” is the color, I wrongly assumed they would be leather. The hanging tag on the sandal says the upper is NOT leather
It is for sure "in style" around here. My son, daughter in law and granddaughter all wear them and one of the most shopped in stores in our little town carry them and are very popular.
