yup... water "resistant" to 300 feet. Keep the words "water resistant" in mind as opposed to "water proof." Few people dive to 300 ft..... most, like me dive to 25 to 100 at the most. I have never had a leak. Good luck dive safe.

The PAW2000 has a very quiet alarm sound. My G-Shock GW2310 is similar. The Casio I have with the loudest alarm sound is the WS210.

If the watch updated the time info successful, you will see the word "GET" in the upper left hand corner of the watch along with the time it updated. I have no idea what "GET" means. You can cancel it by pushing a button. I've never used the alarm. It is a great watch. Light weight, comfortable, and super accurate if you lie it down to get the signal.
