Answer:
Yes, I think they would work well for you. They are thin, and the dexterity would be ideal for handling pages in books. They are good all around gloves. Very practical for smaller hands. My hands are L-XL, and the even work for me.

Answer:
They'll fit. My hands are similar and I use these without much issue. I'll be honest, they are a little snug, and the thumb feels a little funny (I think because they're ambi-gloves) but they aren't uncomfortable, they get the job done, and they were cheap.
Update: I'm a nerd, so when I got home I measured my hand wit… see more

Answer:
These are not high quality gloves or form fitting. I would be able to write with them on and type on my desktop keyboard. I would not be able to type on my iPhone or iPad. I use these gloves to handle film negatives primarily.

Answer:
About 4.5 inches from the tip of the index finger to where the thumb starts. I like these gloves. They are pretty loose on me and I have fairly large hands.

The fingers seemed to be pretty loose; not tapered down to the fingertips, but straight all the way. The size large that I purchased (for a man) would be too big for me. Answer:
These should work fine for that. My only suggestion is to order a size larger then you usually would wear for gloves. They run a little small.

Answer:
These were just cotton. I didn't smell anything at all. If they did have that "new fabric" smell to you, you could wash them. I don't put them in the dryer.

Answer:
I used a lot of lotion and then put on the gloves. It did help a lot but did not completely clear my hands.
