No I wouldn't for two primary reasons: the blade will dull much as a knife does when you put it in the dishwasher, secondly you have to take it apart to clean the rubber gasket area which collects liquid and will get very nasty with food debris. You can put the container in the dishwasher, but I wouldn't put the blade… see more No I wouldn't for two primary reasons: the blade will dull much as a knife does when you put it in the dishwasher, secondly you have to take it apart to clean the rubber gasket area which collects liquid and will get very nasty with food debris. Answer:
this grinder/chopper unit that comes with this blender is garbage , the bearings in the chop assembly failed after shredding hard cheese , so I don't feel it will handle creaming peanuts at all . The motor over heats very easy as well so a prolonged chopping will cause the motor to stop & stay locked up for 6 or more … see more this grinder/chopper unit that comes with this blender is garbage , the bearings in the chop assembly failed after shredding hard cheese , so I don't feel it will handle creaming peanuts at all . I was making salad dressing (oil & vinegar type) & the motor would over heat after 3 minutes of blending . Yes the glass container is really nice but that is all that is quality on this product & but even the glass vessel leaks @ the bottom easily for no reason at times see less this grinder/chopper unit that comes with this blender is garbage , the bearings in the chop assembly failed after shredding hard cheese , so I don't feel it will handle creaming peanuts at all .
