The box dimensions are 12"x7"x39". It does come in two parts which is why it's not the full height. Very easy to put together, by the way.

The benefits of buying this Dyson are: easy to clean, does not collect dust when used, moves a lot of air vertically and horizontally, looks amazing (get compliments on it all the time), (except at the very high setting) it is ultra quiet, it is easy to install and operate and comes with a handy remote that magnetizes to the top of the fan. Also this fan is super light and easily transportable. We have not noticed any increase with our power usage when using this to quickly cool down our second level. I will only buy Dyson fans based upon my amazing experience with this bladeless tower fan. Highly recommend. It is pricey but I do not regret buying this. Answer:
No it is not. It is the best idea for a fan that I have ever seen. I love this fan, it has a remote controller on it, so at night when it gets cooler I can turn it down or off without having to get out of bed.
