It was more then long enough to go from the "tail light" wire in my truck. If you're running a longer distance you'll have to get an extension wire. I'm sure Amazon will have them.
You could always run a wire from the reverse light wire on your vehicle to the are you need and hook it up that way?

Yes, the camera and the holder are waterproof. The wire connections do need to be protected and work best when sealed off from the elements. The wire that enters the camera body itself is sealed and waterproof.

I don't see why it won't work. If you have an extra video jack available for your pioneer AVH-3200BT, then you can run the video cable over. The only thing i'm concern is that it (pioneer AVH-3200BT) won't turn on automatically when you put in reverse.
