I guess it's because your ears are too small or the ear plugs are too big. However, I don't feel comfortable wearing it while sleeping. It is quite large compare to others.
I have small ear canals and these are the best and most comfortable of all the ones I've tried. The previous ones I liked were the flange-type silicone ear plugs, but they hurt after a while. These don't, and they stay in. So glad I found these.
I dont know why the description would be the color is "clear". Mine were green. Maybe they send out various colors, but really, does the color make a difference? They work.
