I purchased this when my grandson was approximately 6 months old. He comes from two families who are known for height, and out grew it within approximately 3 months. It was totally useless by the time he was a year old. Based on cost vs. usage I would not have purchased this item.

This mat has lights in addition to the music (the red and yellow buttons on the top of the keyboard). The other gym does not. The over head bar can be folded down for tummy time on both mats.

No - verified by a customer service representative at Fisher Price. You can take off the mat, you can take off the pole that goes over, but that's it - major issue for storage.

It comes with toys that can be attached as well as played with separately. I did mention before that my grand baby got his hand caught in the ring and we had to help him remove it.
