It's about the same size as your standard headphone cord. 40in. Plenty long to be clipped to the top of your shirt and reach your pocket.

Answer:
NO. This microphone apparently requires "plug-in power" which my ASUS Z87-plus motherboard doesn't seem to have. When I bought this mic, I found a review that said "no battery needed" but I didn't realize that it has special requirements

Answer:
It should; it works with my Android phone. Some folks report some such mikes recording on only one channel; I haven't tested on an iPhone to see. There are however inexpensive mike adapters available on Amazon that convert three-lead (mike) to four-lead (phone) jacks.

Answer:
There is no "power" cord. If you mean the mic cable - just get a 2.5mm stereo M/F extension cable in whatever length you need.

Answer:
As long as the handicam has a standard 3.5mm input this will work great. I might recommend an extension cord because this cord is pretty short. (Make sure it is stereo).

Answer:
This microphone apparently requires "plug-in power" which is "like" phantom power but is a different standard. My my ASUS Z87-plus motherboard doesn't seem to have "Plug-in Power". When I bought this mic, I found a review that said "no battery needed" but I didn't realize that it has special requirements.
