Answer:
The pictures taken with this lens are great (sharp, with details). But at 14mm f-number will be 3.5 (vs 2.5 at 14mm fixed lens). The difference is 1 stop - that will decrease speed (or increase ISO). At bright light this is not a problem but for low light photos the fixed lens is better.
