Yes - I use it with the Hero4 Silver. Pretty certain all the GoPro mounts don't vary between the various camera cases.

You would need 1/2" of seat rail in front to attach the unit. But I think the view from there would not be very good. I would recommend

I don't own a hero5 but if it mounts the same as every gopro it will work no problem. I use either a hero session 4 which just has the cage or i use a hero3 with the normal gopro case. Maybe the blackout case would be cool but not required.

I suggest that you keep the hex screws for mounting the K-Edge to the bars. However, I use a GoPro thumb screw for mounting my GoPro. The GoPro thumb screw is much faster than digging out an allen wrench!

I suggest that you keep the hex screws for mounting the K-Edge to the bars. However, I use a GoPro thumb screw for mounting my GoPro. The GoPro thumb screw is much faster than digging out an allen wrench!
By the way, I have tried all of the mounts. Chesty, helmet, and the K-Edge works the best. For some reason the K-Edge gives a steadier picture.
I like to mount my GoPro so that a small piece of the tire is in the frame.
