B (m) is the normal width. C/d I believe is wider. If your considering buying these, I highly recommend them. I bought 3 pair. I use the for work. ER RN!

About two inches at heel. Don't buy them! Bottom of shoe fell off at work as I was walking. Other one half off when I checked.

It means "wide" However, they are not too wide, rather they are perfect. I wear them with socks or without. Either way, they are comfortable. But I do not have feel that are swollen, just thick across the ball of the foot and the toes.
