24-105 with hood does not fit into case at all. Without hood it is a very tight squeeze for lens and the body sticks out. Velcro will lock, barely. I would not call it a fit, but adequate for some uses.

I think so. I am using it with a Nikon D5200 with an 18-200 lens. The lens fits. Don't know how big your camera is. I like the way it provides one compact unit to carry.

No. The 300 is a bit long. I tried with Canon 50D and 300...will not close. Sorry to say. I had the flap altered to accommodate it.
