I don't know about steam, but I put mine on the front door. Wind, rain, sun, snow... everything still looks great. And that side of the house faces the sun through the hottest part of the day and the black hasn't faded. No peeling, fading, or tearing at all. Months later, it still looks like I put it up yesterday.

Yes, these decals should stick on slightly texture walls. You can test this by applying a regular sticker on the wall and if it sticks, than our decal should work. Thanks,

When I got it, it came in a few pieces (3 or 4?) You stick them next to one another. The end result is pretty seamless visually, though. The dimension is for the full thing assembled on your wall. The pieces are delivered rolled up in a tube.

Low VOC Paint treatments shouldn't be a problem at all. However it is recommended that your paint be dry for at least 30 days prior to using our decal on your wall. Low VOC Paint has a very low cure time.
