I love this backpack. Perfect for Disneyland or multiple hours on your feet. Looks sweet, very comfortable, houses my d700 and 24-70 and 14-24 (D800 should be very similar in size), AND MOST IMPORTANTLY can carry diapers and diaper wipes in style :D see less

Answer:
I have a D5100 with the 55-300 mm lense. It will barely fit with the lense attached. However I usually leave the lense in one of the compartments. My D5100 usually has the 18-55MM lense attached when in the bag.

Answer:
Yes. The lens and camera will fit. You may even be able to fit a second lens of similar size, if you configure the pouch properly.

Answer:
A 13 x 8 laptop might squeeze into the laptop sleeve. No problem with a Nexus 7 Tablet. I took this to Thailand, Cambodia and Bhutan. It worked great. Just need to be careful with the zippers and the seams. (Not heavy duty). I felt more secure from camera thieves, with the design of this backpack. That's what sold me!
