Hi, I needed to upgrade from a purchase of Quicken and the entire process was seamless. I was able to download the upgrade through amazon.com then Quicken was able to convert my old data file without issue.

Answer:
I have my Quicken on a lap & a desk top computer. I know you can have it on seperate computers if you used a disk to install it. I'm not sure how it works if you down load Quicken from the internet. I've called Quicken for support on questions I had and they were most helpful to me.
