Answer:
This camera accepts SD SDHC & SDXC cards. Currently I'm using a Sony 64gb micro SDXC card in a standard SD card adapter. Any card listed as SDXC up to 256gb card will work in this camera. Make sure you buy quality memory cards with good reviews and a fast read write ability. This camera does 1080 60p and will need fast memory.

You'll have to haul around another "special" cable. Panasonic uses a proprietary USB cable that they supply with the camera. The camera has an 8-pin connector, but the cable has a "Standard" USB A connector on one end to connect to your computer, but on the other end, the one that connects to the camera uses a proprietary "non-standard" connector called a UC-E6. It is a 5-pin connector with 4 pins on one edge and 1 pin on the other edge. See attached link. http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/51823652
But as WIM suggested, you don't have to use the cable, you can remove the SD card from the camera and insert it directly into your computer, or set-up a wireless connection to do the same.

For a little point and shoot it is amazing. I am a medical investigator and frequently have to shoot scenes at nigh with poor lighting. I was pleased and amazed what a nice job this little camera does in VERY low light situations.

Answer:
You can set the time lapse for up to 30 minutes between shots with a maximum of 1000 shots. This would give you approximately 3 weeks before the last shot was taken. However, your battery and possibly your sd card would limit this.
