This product is NON-alkalized. As an added bonus the _only_ ingredient is: cocoa :-)

I just checked the latest ConsumerLab.com report (12/21/19) and this is their "top pick," and shows NO lead, and 0.6 micro grams of cadmium.

yes, it is.
there are no lactose-containing ingredients in this product. this isn't the instant-type cocoa, meaning it's not pre-sweetened nor mixed with creamers. it's just pure powdered cocoa.

My wife uses this for her hot chocolate but uses a blender to mix it up. I use Ghirardelli Ground Chocolate and Cocoa for mine and it mixes easier but I use the blender also.

I've used this for years for my mochas and hot chocolate drinks. It is the only chocolate I use for my drinks as I've found it tastes much better (to me) than most other brands I've tried. I agree it is subjective so I suggest you try it to see what you think.
