Yes, no problem. the setup lets you tell the amp what speakers you have on each channel ranging from large to none.

Hi, if you notice the picture which show the receiver's rear, you'll see you can use 6-16Ω speakers. If your sub is powered, you should be fine.

U will need a fiber optical, HDMI or RCA cable for your tv sound. Then an auxiliary cable to you IPod/ MP3 player. They have to be plugged in the back to two different sources which can be controlled from the front of the receiver by selecting what you want. CD/DVD/ Auxillary, etc...
