Not sure you can order just the camera but you might try contacting one of the suppliers, JZEEPLANET 3006 S Vermont Ave, Los Angeles CA 90007. It also might be possible to order a different camera but the mini-jack into the unit would need to match. Some of them are pretty cheap so if it didn't work you wouldn't be out… see more Not sure you can order just the camera but you might try contacting one of the suppliers, JZEEPLANET 3006 S Vermont Ave, Los Angeles CA 90007. The camera as I have it setup starts recording when power is applied (the car key is turned on) and stops 10 minutes after the power goes off. For continuous coverage you will need to provide continuous power and set the camera to loop recording. With a 16 to 60 gig micro S.D. card you can get over 24 hours coverage depending on resolution. I have my cameras setup as follows; front camera faces rear, rear camera faces front. This arrangement covers both inside and outside the car with enough resolution to read license plate numbers and also covers all activities in the car....great for proving on the spot that you were not using a cell phone. (Police officer was much more polite when he saw himself on video....I pointed out the that my camera setup provided the same security and evidence as the cameras in the police car for the same reasons. He is looking into the same setup for his own cars.)
The biggest problem is the instructions are in Chinese and the English references make no sense. I will try to create a reference guide when I have the time.
