My trees drop a mixture of leafs, with my neighbor's pine tree needles. The scoops are not flat on the bottom. After raking a mix, they work fine with all stuff including nuts and residue left by skirls. I would say they pick up 95% of debris, not broom and pan perfect. We do not mind what is left on floor. I think these are better as they are very sturdy. Also , it is easy to scope up lots of leaves & twigs.

Honestly, I forget how they came packaged. I believe each one is individually in a bag, but I could be wrong. They are very sturdy, and likely will not break in shipping.

There should be two. Mine came in flush to each other so double-check to see if they are just flush to each other.
