Have an older Dell XPS 420 and when i had the older power supply{375W} I had to use an adapter to increase my 6 prong plug to an 8 because I installed a EVGA GeForce GTX 960. Well This Power supply has two plugs for either 6 or 8 as both plugs will power your video card. Good luck.
the 430 watt ersion it only comes with (1) PCIE 6+2 connector... many graphic cards need 2 of them plugged in.. so that kinda stinks.. not sure about the 500 watt version of the power supply..
It says it compatible from 110v to 249v, There should be a switch to go from 110v to 240v. I have changed a PSU to 240v as a customer needed is system to work in a whorehouse on 240v. If you're not using a graphics card that requires the power connector they you just don't use it. The power supply comes with one pci-e power connector.
