The Auto mode attempts to do this automatically (see manual page 44) but you can also control it directly by using Shutter Priority mode with a speed above 1/250. See manual page 49.

There is a macro function available specifically for this. I've tried it and it is in focus from <6" but can't really say whether it's high quality (didn't attempt any complex photos).

16 hours. But u dont have to remove it to charge it. There is a charger port on the side of camera, that the camera comes with and if u loose the charger it is the same type of charger used with all samsung tablets and phones

No... This is a telescopic barrel that emanates from the inside of the camera. A different Samsung camera is sold with two detachable/interchangeable lenses. Not sure of the camera model designation.
