Even my Sony DLSR takes time to focus if I use the auto settings. However, when I set it manually and adjust the zoom lens it's really quick, but that takes more time than the autofocus. Setting the shutter speed is the best way to get around it and decreasing the F-stop to allow in just as much light. That is limited I am sure only by what you can get the memory- 128GB or maybe only 64GB. I take thousands of pictures on each trip and use a 32GB and then download and store on my hard drive. Hope this helps

I'd have to say yes it does, but I can't be certain. The videos I have shot I have not been still while shooting, and I have not seen any of them go out of focus, but they are short duration and short distance. So, it's possible that it might not. Ken
