I have run my pen down twice, and it has recorded 88 minutes of video both times, and it automatically broke the recording into about 4 clips, for a total size of 3.92GB each time :)

The size of room makes no difference. Settings are super simple: press a button. Quality is good when you
consider the size of hidden lens and mike. I photographed a painting and the result was amazingly true.

Yes. In standby mode, pressing the button once will take a photo. Your friend cannot immediately see the photo because it is stored on the pen's internal drive and cannot be viewed until you connect it to a PC. Still impressive for the price.
