yes, on a 2DS it should work fine; it won't work on any DS, DSi, or any DS colsole before the original 3DS.

They will always be referred to as their nickname. Even though you give them full names, whatever goes in the nickname box is what they called.

No, I don't believe there is a way to have separate save files for each player. When you save it doesn't let you pick a file.

in Tomodachi Life, you DON'T control lives, rather, help them out. Like in a tycoon game how you don't play as the person observing (in detail) what you've built, you do not play as the Miis' you create and place in here. see less
