I did the math and using conservative usage estimates, I'm getting around 40 hours of use from a single charge, 20 of those hours during a camping trip on the 4th. I use it every day, mostly in short bursts (10-30 minutes) as I shower/get ready for my day. I typically go 2-3 months on a single charge. The cap does not unscrew, it it tight fitting. You just pop it off and it has an internal piece that keeps it attached. I tested mine by dropping it in the pool while it was playing. It bobbed and then floated, music never stopped and no problems since, that was two weeks ago.

Whenever I have a product with an annoying light I get out my black electrical tape to cure the issue. What I do is cut a piece to size and put it over the LED window. If I want to see the light I just cover enough of it so that the light is less of a nuisance. I hope this gives you some relief.

No the sound doesn't distorted at all that I can tell the bass may be slightly less at full volume but not enough to really tell. This speaker is really loud and you will not be disappointed at all!

no, bluetooth is 1:1 source:speaker..... for a 2nd speaker, you'd need another bluetooth source, like a buddy's phone
