It will only extend the Main wireless network (specifically the 2.4GHz band). The F9K1015 is a single band wireless extender and does not support the 5GHz band.

Don't buy this product. It has poor radio reception so it often losses connection to your WiFi and this not able to extend your WiFi range. Another problem is that it doesn't always reconnect upon connection lose and so you have to manually unplug and plug this in over and ever, again and again. Follow the directions to reset the range extender. You should be able to follow the directions for initial set up after that.

To be honest with you it sucks. I don't see any change in range. I'm not sure why I even keep it plugged in accept to remind me how stupid I am for buying it and not returning it. Sorry

Yes, Curt! The Belkin F9K1122 can be connected to your modem/router via ethernet connection and send out Wi-Fi signal at the same time.
