Hi! The Nikon 1 series does have a wide angle lens in the line up right now - you can see it here (http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-NIKKOR-6-7-13mm-3-5-5-6-Black/dp/B00AY6MGRU). With the crop factor of a 1" sensor it's equivalent to 18mm on a full frame DSLR.

You will have to undo the strap then thread one end through the camera's ring then attach back the strap buckle.
