It does have a strap to secure. If it's on a hard surface like a dresser it still can slide around some, may want to secure with velcro or non-slip shelf liner.

Yeah it is 32x16x4 and if you have a tj maxx or ross by you they have changing covers for 3 or 4 bucks that are just perfect and they all have fit wonderfully and super soft they even have a slit on each side to pull the strap through!

Yes, As the baby becomes longer than the distances in between the raised sides, however I just bring him down a little to make the head fit flat on the pad since the legs are raised anyway for a diaper change and it's okay if they bend over the bottom raised side.

I have the IKEA Gulliver changing table (2018 purchase). It was a tight squeeze, but I got it to fit without having to cut/shorten it at all.

No not at all! I love this changing pad. Have been using for my little one since January 2015. No issues at all. The edges are perfect to keep my little one safe along with the belt that this changing comes with.

you have to get a dresser changing top frame first and attach that to any dresser and then the pad goes inside of it.
