My pie crust is better when I cut the fat into the flour by hand. If you haven't bought this food processor yet I would NOT buy it. It's too expensive and is not the quality I expected from a cuisinart. It's ok for dough but it doesn't pulverize herbs or nuts well at all. I'm getting rid of mine and buying a cheaper Black and Decker.
