Ours does that only when the light changes. So it will click when we turn the lights on and off and sometimes when the sun is brighter or darker. I'm sure to change to night vision? Not sure if that's what you are experiencing.

Hi Adrian. WiFi Baby works using LAN only at home without any connection to a cloud server or internet connection needed to function. You also have the option to view remotely securely but if you don't have a need for that you can also shut off that function so it ONLY works LAN.

I didn't purchase any additional aspects everything I needed came with the initial purchase...the SD card might be a newer aspect than I've experienced so far...sorry I cant be more helpful.

So...do you mean a parent camera? Yes, but this is overkill because it has features that are only necessary for a child. With a parent you want to hear everything that he or she says. With a child you want to mute some of their smaller sounds and focus on the real crying.
