You can technically get a stylist, but shampoo will probably ruin the electronics, the hair dryer will melt the plastic, and any clothes on it will still make it look square.

Because it will work with any microUSB charging source, something 99.99% of expected buyers will already have. Even if you only have a single charger, say for your phone, the Kindle will only need it very occasionally so it is unlikely to interfere with using it with the other device. It also charges at full speed when plugged into a desktop or laptop PC. By the time you tally up the cost of the charger itself and the attendant expenses on additional packaging materials and labor to pack them, you're talking about saving $4-5, a consideration much more likely to be of interest to prospective buyers than having one more brick sitting unused in a drawer somewhere.

The screen is very readable in direct sunlight, with or without sunglasses. It transitions extremely well from bright sunlight to indoor light to dark as well. This is a very great product in that way! Hope this helps!

No, light from my Kindle doesn't keep me awake. I always read before bedtime each night, infact I was a guest at my daughters over Thanksgiving. All the lights were out and I could read with my kindle until I went to sleep disturbing no one.

You will also see a small banner ad on your home screen. Buying with special offers gets you a $20 discount on the price. If you buy without special offers you lose the lockscreen/ad and also the banner ad. You can buy with special offers and unsubscribe later via your Amazon account for a cost of $20 (ie: you repay the discount).

The evenness of the light can vary a little from one paperwhite to another and sometimes slight shadowing is visible although this should not amount to overt blotchiness. Light bleeding is not normal. If your kindle is new I would be inclined to contact Amazon and discuss the issue with a view to a replacement.

There is a refresh function where the page turns black very briefly when you are turning the page. It prevents ghosting of text from one page to the next. In Settings you can set the page refresh to occur after every page or after every six pages. I believe it is set to every page as a default.
