Be very gentle washing as the teflon tends to separate. I suspect that is a problem with all hot air cookers. I love mine. Raw potato fries: 16 to 20 mins. Medium frozen fries: 14-18 minutes. Clean up is really fast and easy. Just bought mine. I've only cooked frozen salmon steaks in it; they took about 12 minutes. I sprayed them with oil before cooking; that's all the oil I used. They were good.

Hi, first....I LOVE this item. The fat falls into the bottom of the unit through the holes in the basket that holds the food. Very easy clean up as inside is coated. Use it all the time.
