I purchased buckets from Auto Geek, which are a better fit, especially for the Grit Gard (bottom). The side Grit Gard fits in any bucket. The bottom guard will not go all the way down in a normal Lowe's bucket, but this is a good thing. These are good to have if using the 2 bucket approach with one wash mit. I use one side of a mit on each body panel and then dump in clean water with grit guard. After vehicle is washed, I clean all my mits with the grid guard.
