Yes, I have streamed three different movies to three different devices (Apple TV, iPad and iPhone) at the same time using Plex Server and the control panel reported the CPU utilization was approx. 50%. Plex Server version is v1.3.2.3112 as provided by WD.

I suggest to go whit the factory RAM there are testet and stable but like every computer you can put in what you like.

You can call WD and ask. But I assume so. I called asking about the 8tb 4100 and it came with two 4s. Even though there's an 8tb available.

Amazon allows you to specify whether you want a system with hard drives or a diskless version. Just check the option you want before you add the NAS to your cart. You can choose a system with up to 32TB.

You'd probably need to purchase the unit diskless, and buy your own drives.
