There is a video made by Amazon that says it does indeed play videos from "Amazon Video, YouTube, Movie Trailers and more". What "more" means will yet to be known, but could be Netflix if Amazon strikes a deal with them. The product is surely capable of it.

NOTE: This used to work. It apparently does not now! SORRY You can turn off Start of End of Request Sounds: Click on "settings" - select the device (living room dot, echo etc.). Scroll down and click on "sounds" and then scroll to Request Sounds and turn off "End of Request"

Actually, if you set up drop in, then yes. The other side will have 10 seconds to reject the call or switch to voice-only.
