Compact but not too small. I’d say it’s about the size of my palm, maybe a little bigger

If your pencils are made of wood, and have an art media core such as graphite or colored substance such as pastel then this sharpener will work very well. If the core is a wax substance like crayon then you might have issues with the wax sticking to the blades, but it will still work.

Sorry biut we have not tried. We only sharpen collored pencils and no 2 pencils.

It dosent have any hooks or wholes. The sharpener is completely smooth on all sides so I’m going to say no unless you have a shelf but it works great.

With great battery life, no, you don't need both hands to sharpen a pencil. You can simply place a pencil in to sharpen in. However, with weak batteries, you may need to hold the sharpener in place because the motor will struggle to sharpen a pencil. Thus, spinning if not held down.
