It is not heat transfer vinyl. It’s peel and stick and transfers easier if you you transfer tape to adhere it to whatever surface you are putting it on

I use this for wood signs all the time. Be sure to sand and seal the wood first with a good sealer. The vinyl will adhere to anything smooth, clean, and not porous. I let the sign cure for a few days before sending out to clients.

No. You’d have to use a specific kind that says dry erase vinyl.

Vinyl will stick to most woods but the surface of the wood needs to be completely smooth. This is important because rough wood with lots of chips, grooves and sawdust on it will be difficult in terms of the vinyl sticking and staying down. Rough surfaces do not allow for an even stick.

I only use Oracal brand vinyl for all my projects and it sticks very well. I use it for tumblers also including one that have texture to them. I don’t have any issues with my Cricut cutting it or weeding it
