The racks are removable so you can store wine bottles vertically. If you want to store them the correct way you can lay them flat on every rack except the bottom which is not a full size rack.
If you mean the screws that hold the handle to the door it is 18". If this is not what you were referring to, please rephrase your question and I'll try to answer it.
the height is an inch higher than your available space, I had to return the item, it does not refrigerate, it was colder outside on a sunny day than the items inside after a months test.
