They are NOT identical. The EVO Select has a read speed of 100MB/s and write speed of 60MB/S.
To the EVO Plus is 100MB/S read and 90MB/S write.

IF the MS Surface tablet can take a micro SD card AND if it can accept 128GB, then YES, this should work! Best to check the technical specs on the tablet.

As long as the switch can support the capacity it should. Also just as a note these are the EU version, at least mine were.
