We have Tile floors with some kind of shaggy rugs around the house... The vac works well going on and off the rug, but occassionally while on a rug it will turn to go another direction and as its turning it sometimes pulls the rug up.

It is very obstinate though and continues to try and turn in different directions to get away from the bunched up rug and eventually gets where it wants to go, and usually leaves the rug as flat as it found it. see less

The vacuum also boosts its suction power when it detects its on a rug/carpet. Our house is entirely tiled through out with several area and throw rugs about. At the Medium suction setting we still get about 60 to 65 minutes of run time before it returns for charging see less

Yes, there is a remote included. However you can use it with 6our computer.

Answer:
Negative. You can spot clean a room but you would manually have to move it to that room first. There is no mapping function that I can see on the particular model.

It has 3 settings....silent, med, and max. On silent and medium it is not loud at all. Excellent vacuum...I had a neato for 2 years and this works way better.

It is definitely not the R7070. I am not sure which one. I did a search and could not find it. If you are thinking about a Powerbot because it claims to work with Alexa, go somewhere else. Yes. The literature says 0.6 inches. Ours conquers hardwood to tile to linoleum to carpet transition pieces.
