I prefer 1 1/2” - 1 3/4” arch. Those who have experienced surgical intervention on feet will agree that these shoes provide good support to the ankle, as well as stabilization.

Mine cracked in half after a little less than 2 years. I just got very excited to find them here, though, because I loved those shoes. I only expect to get 12-18mos out of a pair of daily wear shoes. I literally wore these every day.

Yes, the design above the cutout is shiny. I don't know about Moro or oiled.

They are not made at all like the Dansko nor the Sanita. These are very comfortable shoes, however they are not going to last as long as Dansko/Sanita would. They are also narrower than Dansko's.

Hi. The size I ordered is 8 and a half. It fits just a little snug but still wearable and comfortable. I wear thin socks with these shoes and they are fine. I love them and get compliments on them. I would suggest that this style of shoe might run just a little small.

The insole is not hard. I’d order a half size up. I usually take an 8, and they’re ok, but the 8-1/2 is better.
