Answer:
I weigh 400 lbs and am 6 feet tall and I find very comfortable. I do not sink in more 2 or 3 inches. I am on a TATAGO 3000lbs Max Weight Capacity 16 Inch Tall Heavy Duty Metal Platform Bed frame. I have no problem with it squishing through the 6 inch apart slats.

Answer:
So my experience was that the Zinus base is great but the slats are too far apart and I needed to purchase a 4” bunkie board to support the mattress I purchased.

Answer:
Disagree about the edge support unless you’re smaller, thin, maybe under 130 pounds. I’m about 140 and my husband is about 210. He slides right off the edge and it compresses a lot when I sit at the edge.

We love the queen size which was medium to firm. Just received the king for a master bedroom a couple of days ago. It is awful. Exactly the same bed, just a different size. While the queen is perfect, the king is squishy and soft and compresses right to the support foundation. I don’t know how we’re going to deal with returning it (huge, bulky, heavy-how to tie it up and get it onto a UPS store??) but it’s terrible and we plan to do it. see less We love the queen size which was medium to firm.
