Our apologies for any confusion caused. Our highest-quality 70/30 blend Korean waffle-weave towels were recently upgraded to 400gsm. We previously had the listing at 360gsm just in case there were any of the older Amazon stock remaining. Now that all older stock has been sold, all of these waffle-weave towels are 400gsm towels going forward. We have also updated the listing description to reflect that. One thing to note: The Rag Company's Korean waffle-weave towels are among the most absorbent towels available anywhere. You'll find thicker/heavier 80/20 blend Chinese waffle-weave towels available elsewhere from our competitors that become unmanageable when wet and difficult / too heavy to wring out effectively. After years of testing and consumer input, you'll find that our waffle-weave towels are the perfect combination of weight and blend for super absorbancy and drying manageability. Answer:
Yes, but only slightly damp. Microfiber does perform better when damp. You can either give the towel a spritz with water or a drying aid prior to placing it on the vehicle.

Yes, definitely. We thought they were going to be really big, and hard to handle - but it makes the job go faster because it dries fast and doesn’t get to wet. We use one for wiping the car too.

Answer:
I wash all my microfibers together after washing and drying my car. Even after cleaning my wheels they come out clean. I have seen stains from dirt and oil but have not had it affect my wash. This is from a car with full paint correcting and cquartz coating.
