You dont buy it on Amazon. You get 800 pounds of usp grade epsom salt on a pallet delivered from San Francisco salt company. Its called epsoak. You will end up paying a few hundred in shipping but this is how most float centers and owners of tanks get their salt.

I get the unscented and it doesn't have a scent. I'm super sensitive to anything scented and have ordered it numerous times.

Buying in bulk lots is the way. I found 8 lb bags at Target for $5.00 ea. local PU. They will ship for orders of $35 + Take awhile to use 7 bags, but with bath bomb making and gardening and general cleaning around the house, wont take long to use up. Can't beat the price from what I have seen.

I recommend 420 brand cleaner, also avail on Amazon. I presume u want an abrasive substance, so yes, this will give u some, but it will dissolve

Not sure but it probably works as snail repellent or maybe to keep out the hocus pocus witches out. My wife uses it for a soak not for animal repellent. Your question is for animal control
